An event is planned near Woodinville that will appeal to those with sophisticated tastes.
Seattle World Whisky Day is scheduled for Redmond, a short drive from Woodinville. The event is only the beginning of an entire week celebrating World Whisky Day.
More than 20 distilleries are planning to take part, including those working in the Pacific Northwest and others from all over the globe. In addition to single-malt whiskies, there will be a wide variety of ryes and bourbons. At the most recent event, there were more than 75 separate beverages to sample. Entertainment, music, and food are also planned.
The event will take place in Redmond Downtown Park, with the lawn area designated for those 21 years of age and over only. Non-ticket holders will be able to enjoy the remainder of the park. Organizers of events like this can use flyer printing to create handouts for attendees, giving them a list of vendors.
Those who purchase tickets will also receive 10 tasting tickets; an event wristband that will allow for entry and re-entry, from 1.00 pm until 5.00 pm; and the opportunity to order bottles of whisky. Those who purchase Early Bird Tickets will have the first chance to register for Masterclasses.
Seattle World Whisky Day will be held May 14, beginning at 1:00 pm, at Redmond Downtown Park on Redmond Way. The event is a fundraiser for Havens Community Connection, an organization dedicated to preventing domestic violence.
