Raise funds for good cause in Woodinville
An event is on the schedule in Woodinville to help raise funds to fight disease.
For the 11th year, the Rockin' Sips Rock event will give Woodinville residents a chance to sip delicious wine and support efforts to fight disease, as they visit a popular winery. Woodinville is becoming a noted destination for wine aficionados, and a number of wineries now operate in the city and throughout the local area.
Admission to the event includes the party, a commemorative wine glass with the winery logo, tastings of the wines made at EFESTE, and the chance to sample other drinks from Waters Winery, Kind Stranger Wines, and Latta Wines; beers from Foggy Noggin Brewing will be available as well. EFESTE's wines have won praises from everyone from Martha Stewart to “Wine Spectator,” to “Wine Press Northwest.”
There will be live music courtesy of the official Seattle Seahawks DJ, DJ Supa Sam, and attendees will have a chance to win great prizes. The Washington/Alaska Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the beneficiary of all monies raised at the event.
