Painting fun in Woodinville
An event is coming up that all hopeful Picassos will want to attend.
Wit Cellars will be the place to be for a painting party, during which attendees will recreate the painting “Fancy Peacock.” As the title implies, the subject of the work is a peacock. The bird's head and body are in the lower right corner of the picture, and its tail curves up and around the entire frame, making almost a complete circle. Also, instead of being the customary blue, or sometimes white, color, this bird's tail feathers feature a wide array of hues.
Attendees will be given instruction in painting step-by-step, and all supplies including brushes and paints will be supplied. Gloves, which must be worn throughout the duration of the evening, will also be provided. However, it is up to the individual to bring their own mask, which must be worn. Aprons will not be supplied, but attendees are encouraged to bring their own. Once they have registered, people will receive additional information about the event via email. The message will include the latest information about guidelines for health and safety.
In addition, attendees will be able to purchase entrees, small plates, appetizers, and beverages throughout the evening. The event is scheduled for March 12, from 6.00 pm until 8.30 pm, at Wit Cellars on 144th Avenue Northeast. Flyer printing can be used to provide handouts for attendees at events like this.
