New Seasons firm expands in Seattle region

Wendy Collie, the chief executive of New Seasons, has opted to extend the reach of the company within the region of Seattle.

Collie has the initial aim of opening a retail outlet at Mercer Island. A print company in Woodinville could be employed to promote the new store to Washington residents. The amenity should be opened during the fall of 2016 and Ms. Collie has told the Portland Business Journal:

“We are about creating a community of customers at all our stores, and so local to us is really defined by the relationships we have with the people we do business with.”

The prioritization of Mercer Island by the business has been justified by referring to the local enthusiasm for certain values. These have been described by Ms. Collie who has interpreted them as a liking for health, quality, and sustainable development.

However, the ambitions of New Seasons are on a larger scale than the Mercer Island move might suggest. The organization has the intent of opening one or two outlets in the region on an annual basis.

While what New Seasons offers to all its customers is meant to be consistent, it has been reported that attention will be given to local tastes. The idea is that the corporation can offer consumers some products that have an authentic local flavor. This should give a community a sense of connection with their nearest store.
