What's Happening in Woodinville, WA…

Holiday fun planned in Woodinville

As the holidays approach, Woodinville has a variety of activities planned, including a 5K run/walk.

People planning on attending Winterfest 2021 will find activities in DeYoung Park, the Schoolhouse District, Woodin Creek Village, or Molbak’s. At DeYoung Park, there will be an ornament-making opportunity as well as a chance to make wreaths, a toy drive, and Santa will be available for pictures. The official tree lighting will take place in the park.

The Woodinville Farmers’ Market will be located in the Schoolhouse District. The District will also feature kids’ activities from the YMCA, firepits where s’mores will be served, and the Holiday Fair.

At Woodin Creek Village, people will enjoy wine tasting, have the opportunity to take photos, sip on complementary hot chocolate, listen to live music, and enjoy both a car show and a light display.

Molbak’s, which is a destination nursery, will have a poinsettia tree to provide a setting for photos. There will be selfie stations for taking photos with Santa, and a chance to win a $100 gift card.

A 5K run is also part of the festivities. This starts at 8.30 am, with a 5K walk beginning at 8.45 am. A celebration for those who finish will be from 9:30 am until 11:00 am.

All Winterfest activities are set for December 4, with the tree lighting scheduled for 5:30 pm. In order to help visitors find the various activities, flyer printing can be used to create handouts.
