Vancouver welcomes return of fun event

A favorite festival is returning to Vancouver.

The Vancouver Brewfest comes along twice a year, in the spring and summer, and now the summer event is on the calendar. The event brings together craft brewers from throughout the area, and gives attendees a chance to sample a number of the best beers created in the area.

There will be over 60 breweries participating, in addition to vendors with original arts and crafts, great food from local eateries, and live music throughout the two-day event.

Although the brewfest is focused on beer, there will also be mead and cider available for sampling; vendors will sell non-alcoholic beverages, and free water will be on hand. People who have kept tokens from previous brewfests may use them this year, and pets are also allowed, provided their people are well behaved.

This summer's Vancouver Brewfest is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, August 7 and 8, from 4.00 pm until 9.30 pm on August 7, and from 11.00 am until 9.00 pm on August 8. People who attend on Friday and keep their tasting glass and wristband can return to the festival on Saturday and enjoy free admission. The festival is held in downtown's beautiful Esther Short Park, with tickets priced from $10 to $37, and is limited to those 21 and over only. Flyer printing can be used to create handouts listing participating at events like this.
