Gift wrapping saves money in Vancouver

An unusual event that promises to be a fun way to save money is coming to Vancouver.

Kindred, a shop on Main Street, is the location of the upcoming Gift Wrap Swap. Many people have more gift wrap than they can use, or have stopped exchanging gifts entirely and have wrap they will never need. The swap will allow people buried in unneeded supplies to share them with others. In addition, wrapping paper is expensive, and the event allows people to obtain beautiful supplies free of charge.

The swap rules are simple—gather all kinds of wrapping supplies, including wrapping paper, gift Bags, gift tags, and ribbons—and bring them to the event. The items should be clean, not torn, wadded up, or dirty, and suitable for someone else to use. Every type of festive wrap is welcome, from the twine and brown paper favored by minimalists to the most glittery paper designed. People are welcome to bring their supplies and swap them for something else, or just stop by to visit and look at products that are some of the most colorful on the market. There is no need to trade anything to attend.

The Gift Wrap Swap is scheduled from November 28 at 10.00 am until November 30 at 2.00 pm. Kindred is located at 2213 Main Street in downtown Vancouver. Events like this can be announced through handouts for local distribution, created by organizers using flyer printing services.
