A popular event is returning to Vancouver to help families celebrate Valentine’s Day.
An event that celebrates families—whether people are related by birth, adoption, or choice—will take place at Pearson Air Museum, in its Historic Hangar. Music and dancing will make the evening a traditional ball. Organizers of events like this will often use banner printing to create suitable decorations for the venue.
Pearson Field is an operational municipal airport in Vancouver. It first began operating in the early 20th century, with the first airplane landing at the field in 1911. It has a 3,275-foot runway and handles around 144 aircraft operations daily. The Air Museum is located at Pearson Field.
Tickets must be purchased in advance, and are available online, or at the Marshall or Firstenburg community centers. The tickets for Vancouver residents are $16, and $18 for non-residents. Children 13 years of age and under must have an adult accompany them.
Eligible households in Clark County may receive scholarships covering half the cost of a ticket for developmentally disabled adults, or children aged 18 and younger.
The Family Valentine’s Ball has proven to be so popular that there are two dances scheduled. The first is February 9, from 6.00pm until 8.00pm, and the second is February 10 at the same time. Pearson Air Museum is located at 1115 East 5th Street, near Fort Vancouver.
