Popular event returns to Vancouver

One of Vancouver’s most popular annual events is now on the schedule.

The Craft Wine & Beer Festival is held in Esther Short Park in the city’s downtown, and proceeds go to benefit the Clark County Food Bank.

The inaugural festival was held in 2013 and has been popular ever since. Organizers of the festival bring together the finest spirits, wines, and craft beers from Oregon and Washington State. There will be more than 100 wines, 60 craft beers, and six craft cocktails available. Four distilleries will also be present, along with craftspeople and artisans, plus food and live music.

Craft brewers from throughout the region will be located in the Beer Village. Two of the brewers are from Vancouver itself – Heathen Brewing and Fortside Brewing Company. Wineries will be presenting their vintages in Wine Country. A Vancouver winery, Burnt Bridge Cellars, is among those participating. Whiskey Town will be the place to find distilleries.

Part of the fun of this kind of event is eating “fair food.” Food trucks will be on hand serving items like sliders, crab cakes, and tacos.

In addition, live entertainment is being planned with the line-up to be announced soon.

The festival is set for July 29 from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm, July 30 from 12:00 pm until 10:00 pm, and July 31 from 12:00 until 5:00 pm. Organizers of events like this with many vendors present can use flyer printing to create maps for attendees.
