Beer and wine event scheduled for Vancouver

One of summer's signature events has been scheduled for Vancouver.

The Craft Beer & Wine Fest is coming back to Esther Short Park, bringing more than 100 of the best craft wines from throughout the region, as well as more than 60 craft beers. Five distilleries are also taking part, for those who enjoy sampling spirits.

In addition to the spirits, wines, and beers, the festival also features exhibitors, merchants, craftspeople and artists, all bringing their unique products to the event. Local food from the city's best restaurants will also be available, and there is live music planned for the length of the entire weekend. Among the performers scheduled are S.O.S., a Police tribute band; and the Beaver Boogie Band.

The festival is a fundraiser for the Evergreen School District Foundation, and the monies raised go to support school supplies and school lunches for underprivileged children in the district. Children who have supplies to use and food to eat perform better in school.

Banner printing is a popular way to advertise such events. At present, the event is scheduled to begin June 12, a Friday, from 5.00 pm until 10.00 pm; hours on June 13 are from 12.00 pm until 10.00 pm; and on June 14, from 11.00 am until 5.00 pm. The venue is the popular Esther Short Park in downtown Vancouver. People planning to attend will want to check for scheduling changes.
