An upcoming run in Vancouver promises to be a fun event for those who attend.
Trap Door Brewing in Vancouver is the starting point and finish line of the upcoming 5K Fun Run, part of the 2024 Oregon Brewery Running Series. The Series originated in Minneapolis, and these events are held across the country.
In Vancouver, the course is “5K-ish” in length, and is open to everyone, no matter if they want to jog, walk, or run, before returning to the Trap Door for a locally crafted cold beer. Trap Door Brewing is in downtown Vancouver, so the course winds through the city’s downtown. The course is considered “open,” since the roads and streets will not be shut down. Runners are responsible for obeying all regulations and traffic laws, and for keeping themselves safe. There will be arrows marking the route so people will be able to avoid getting lost.
The event is a fun run and is not timed. It is also open to participants of all skill levels who are welcome to jog, run, or walk, as they like. In addition, strollers and dogs are welcome, but all parents need to make sure they are supervised. The course leads over sidewalks, trails, and streets, and some areas may not be suitable for animals or children.
The race is due to occur on May 18, starting at 10.00 am. Organizers of events like this can use banner printing to create the arrows that mark the course.
