Rising country star coming to Vancouver

An up-and-coming country artist will appear soon in Vancouver.

Jessie Leigh says music has been part of her life since she was a child, but despite her passion, she was uncertain about making music a career. After graduating from high school, she attended college to get a degree in teaching, and during this time, concentrated on gospel music, leading worship services at church. She notes that by living through a period when the focus on music was not as intense, she was able to grow musically and learn many important skills. This in turn reignited her love for music and she began to think once again of music as a career.

She broke through in 2014 when she gave her first live country performance. After such a positive reaction to her inaugural show, she formed a band of her own and began writing songs. During her first year as a professional musician, she opened for stars such as Craig Campbell and Kenny Chesney. In 2015, she and her band won the Battle of the Bands and started touring throughout Nevada, Montana, Idaho, California, Washington, and Oregon. When she was not on stage, she was working on her inaugural album, “Storm in May,” which she released in 2018.

Jessie Leigh will be at the Columbia Tech Amphitheater in Vancouver on July 31. Since fans like to learn about their favorite performers, organizers of events like this could use brochure printing to create programs for the concert.
