Networking event back in Vancouver
An event that had been sidelined because of the health crisis is returning to Vancouver in the new year.
My Family Guide is the host and organizer of a networking event that will allow attendees to connect as business-to-business (B2B) or business-to-consumer (B2C) associates, and have fun with a raffle. It will also give parents who interact mostly with their children a chance to enjoy some adult conversation.
The creators of My Family Guide developed the directory as a resource to help parents find travel opportunities, events, shopping, entertainment, lodging, and restaurants where children are welcome. They also created a tool that local child-friendly businesses can use to let others know about their companies.
The upcoming event will give attendees a chance to learn about these companies, and what kinds of products and services they offer, particularly when it comes to children.
Business owners who want to let everyone know about their operations only need to donate a prize to the raffle, and they will be given the mic to talk about their company.
The location is the Heathen Brewing Feral Public House, which is located in downtown Vancouver. It offers food, craft beer, and, naturally, a kids’ menu. This is the type of event where business cards are welcome and enthusiastically exchanged.
The event is on Monday, January 16 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, and Heathen Brewing is at 1109 Washington Street. Organizers would appreciate an RSVP so Heathen Brewing can plan.
