Fun drinks festival in Vancouver

Vancouver is the place to be for fun this summer, with many major festivals taking place. Recent events have featured artists and Pacific islanders. Now, it’s the turn of local wine, spirits, and beer makers.

The Craft Beer & Wine Fest will be held in Esther Short Park and will give attendees three days to sample locally crafted beers and wines. This festival is not typical, but a hybrid event that brings together adult beverage makers of all kinds, as well as live music.

Approximately 60 vendors will gather to provide attendees with samples of their local craft spirits, wines, and beers. The Clark County Food Bank will receive 100% of all free re-entry donations. When organizers plan events like this, they will often use poster printing to create colorful advertisements to post throughout the area.

Bands scheduled, with numerous tribute acts set to perform, include Revisiting Creedence, Johnny Wheels & the Swamp Donkeys, The Taylor Band, Queen Mother, Cheaper Trick (Cheap Trick), and Candy -O. Revisiting Creedence’s appearance is particularly anticipated because they have toured with some of the original band members of Creedance Clearwater Revival.

The park is a beautiful space with huge trees to provide shade, and the Columbia River is only a few blocks away.

The beer and wine festival is scheduled for August 9, from 5.00 pm until 10.00 pm, August 10 from 12.00 pm until 10.00 pm, and August 11, from 12.00 pm until 5.00 pm.
