The Fab Four are a tribute band for The Beatles, whose nickname the “Fab Four” was given to them early in their career. The Beatles were part of the 1960ss “British invasion,” when they and other bands like the Rolling Stones toured the United States and changed pop music forever. Beatles tunes are still a staple on rock stations, which play classics like “Hard Day’s Night” and “Hey Jude.”
The Emmy-winning tribute band first got together in 1997 in Southern California, with Ron McNeil, who was already appearing as a John Lennon impersonator, being the founder. The original group comprised McNeil, Andy Sarraf as Paul McCartney, Rolo Sandoval as Ringo Starr, and Michael Amador emulating George Harrison. The group became so successful they had to create a second lineup to perform in Las Vegas six nights weekly. They have also toured worldwide, making stops as far and wide as Brazil, Mexico, Australia, Germany, and Malaysia.
A review says:
“From beginning to end non stop Beatle songs all sounding just like the originals.”
The Fab Four will be at the Bing Crosby Theater in Spokane on Friday, March 8. Organizers of events like this will frequently work with poster printing to create colorful advertising.
