Spokane Valley event offers food and fun

A party is planned in Spokane Valley to support the Spokane Angels, and just to have fun.

The upcoming event is the 2nd Annual Corks & Caps, an evening featuring local wine and beer, live music, and camaraderie, all to support a great cause. The Spokane Angels offer help to families, young people, and children in the foster care system. They provide consistent support via mentorship, relationship building, and intentional giving. Organizers of this event can publicize it with Posters, which they will find at Print shops.

There are about 400,000 youth and children in foster care across the nation. The Spokane Angels are changing the way people experience the system by mentoring those in the program to help prepare them for independent living. They also build relationships with those in the program, and provide personalized items, resources, and care packages specifically tailored to the recipients’ needs.

At the event, people can enjoy local brews and food trucks, a curated silent auction, a wine pull, raffles, a photo booth, and live music courtesy of Two Slim and the Taildraggers, and Jerry Lee Raines.

The event will take place at the Spokane Valley Event Center on Friday, February 20 from 5.00 pm until 8.00 pm. It is limited to those 21 years of age and above. General admission is $45, which includes a branded glass and five tokens. A VIP option is $65 and includes a swag bag, branded glass, and eight tokens. Tickets are $50 at the door.
