An upcoming gathering in Spokane Valley will celebrate the world of fantasy.
Cosplayers, fantasy creatures, and fans of the fantasy genre should plan to attend the upcoming Fairy Festa, where they will be able to celebrate music, oracles, dragons, mythology, magic, quests, and all the ideas and tropes that make fantasy films, Books, and stories so beloved.
Attendees will be able to dance with fairies, take part in crafts, enjoy coffee drinks, food, and sweet treats, and have tea in the Royal Tea Garden with the Queen. The Combat Corps will be on hand to demonstrate swordplay, and local authors will chat about their fantasy Books. Visitors can play games in a Gaming Parlor, go on a quest, and adopt a dragon.
People who feel brave enough can join the Royal Dragon Guardians and go on a treasure hunt, though they should beware of the Ogre. Also, an Enchanted Market will be available, offering magical items. Events like this benefit from colorful advertising that organizers can create using poster printing.
Fairy Festa will take place on Saturday, June 20 from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm, and Sunday, June 21 from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm, at Spokane Gallery, 409 South Dishman Mica Road in Spokane Valley. In addition, the “Fairies After Dark” event, which requires a separate ticket and is limited to those aged 21 and over, is scheduled for June 21 from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm.
