Spokane Valley hosts horse-y fundraiser

An event coming up in Spokane Valley will raise funds for a local organization.

2BU’s 2026 Mane Event is the organization’s annual fundraiser and will take place at the Mirabeau Park Hotel in Spokane Valley. The evening includes a BBQ dinner with a country western theme, a silent auction, a dessert auction, a live auction, a no-host bar, and raffle prizes.

2BU Youth Ranch is a small facility that uses horses to help young people find hope and healing through their interactions with the animals. The ranch provides training in mentorship and basic horsemanship for young people from ages 8 through 18, scheduled as four sessions of six weeks each annually.

Nancy Wolf is the founder and director of the ranch and has always liked working with at-risk children. She became aware of the advances made when children worked with animals, especially being responsible for their care, and established the ranch to assist these youngsters.

The dinner is scheduled for May 30, from 5.00 pm until 9.00 pm. The hotel is at 1100 North Sullivan Road. Tickets are available for adults for $75 each if bought by May 15, which includes one drink tickets. Adult admission is $80 for tickets bought between May 16 and 27, and no drink ticket is included. Finally, youth tickets are $20. Events like this benefit when organizers use poster printing to create advertisements for them.
