A crafting workshop that will introduce the art crafted by the TlingitPeople has been organized for Olympia, and it will see Wéidaaká Yóodóohaa (Bill Pfeifer, Jr.) share his love and knowledge of Tlingit ceremonial paddles.
The hands-on session will be working with carved wooden paddles that are 24" long, and the activity is slated for Harbor House. Tickets start at $170.74 each, and it will be held in the afternoon on its scheduled date.
The activity can be enjoyed by everyone from the beginning artist to those who have a lot of experience, and while they work, the ticket holders will learn about Tlingit culture and the meaning of the paddles and the figures and patterns painted on them. An assortment of savory bites will be served, and these will showcase traditional Indigenous flavors that feature a modern twist. Only a limited number of seats are available, and they are expected to fill up quickly.
A class that combines hands-on crafting with cultural information can be both a fun and meaningful experience. A flyer printing company can prepare a variety of budget friendly ways to help spread the word about an activity to the public
Wéidaaká Yóodóohaa will be sharing his knowledge of Tlingit culture, carvings and art on January 31st. The doors will open at 1:00 pm, and it will be held at 217 Thurston Avenue Northwest.
