Shakespeare is one of the most iconic English writers of all time, and his multifaceted talents will be gracing the Olympia stage. A group of high school students is slated to perform what is arguably his most famous play.
Students from nearby Avanti High School have already begun rehearsing A Midsummer Night's Dream. This romantic comedy was written in the late 16th century, and takes place in Athens. It tells the story of four lovers who become involved in a domestic feud with local royalty. Plenty of twists and turns are involved, and similar to other masterpieces created by Shakespeare, the audience should expect a masterful display of the English language. The performance itself is predicted to last more than two hours, so a considerable amount of rehearsing is required.
Organizers of events targeting the local community will normally use proven marketing techniques to ensure a high return on investment. Flyer printing, playbill distribution, and placing announcements in citywide circulars are some common examples.
A Midsummer Night's Dream will be performed on Thursday, June 4th, Friday, June 5th, and Sunday, June 7th. The itinerary for each day can be found on the official social media page. It is being hosted by Avanti Auditorium located at 1113 Legion Way SE. Guests can choose how much they wish to pay, so ticket prices are flexible.
