Award-winning festival returns to Olympia

Olympia residents will soon celebrate a festival that has been known to attract large crowds. This three-day event has been created to celebrate the maritime history of the city, and all are welcome aboard.

The 2026 Olympia Harbor Days Festival always coincides with Labor Day weekend, and similar to prior celebrations this celebration provides visitors with a hands-on appreciation of how the sea shaped Olympia industries over the years. One of the main attractions involves a series of vintage Puget Sound tugboats that will be on display. Steam ships, tall ships, and merchant vessels are also expected to be present.

In addition to the ships, numerous other on-site attractions are being provided. These include live music, nautical events, interactive workshops, and food vendors. Tours of nearby Port Olympia will also be offered. Organizers claim that this year's event will offer more than 300 unique activities for all ages.

Annual events that have become part of local culture will often fall back on marketing methods that proved their mettle in the past. Bespoke banner printing, mass-produced Flyers containing relevant information, and pamphlets that can be distributed throughout the city are all effective techniques.

The 2026 Olympia Harbor Days Festival is taking place between Friday, September 4th, and Sunday, September 6th. Doors open at 5 PM, and close at 9:30 PM. This event is being hosted by Percival Landing Park located at 217 Thurston Avenue NW. There is no charge to attend.
