Many performances are still not being held in person, but innovative venues have made them available via live streaming, and one such virtual concert is coming to Kirkland soon.
The band Herding Cats has been pleasing fans for 20 years. It is based in Seattle and is a trio comprised of Jon Bolton on drums and lead vocals; Mike Mattingly on vocals and guitar; and Kurtis Dengler, who also sings and plays the bass guitar. The three men perform as a cover band, offering their versions of classic rock standards.
Herding Cats can be found performing at all kinds of events, from private parties to weddings, and in venues from casinos to clubs, both in the United States and internationally. The band is said to work hard to make certain their audiences have a wonderful time, often taking requests.
At various times, the members of Herding Cats have appeared on stage with such artists as Huey Lewis and the News, Kid Rock, Bruce Willis, Roger Daltrey of The Who, Paul Allen, Paul Rodgers of Queen, Bad Company, Bryan Adams, and more. Herding Cats were named “2018's Best Band” by 425 Magazine.
Organizers of events like this could use flyer printing to create informative mailers to send to ticket buyers before the performance.
The Herding Cats concert will be livestreamed from the Kirkland Performance Center on March 18 at 8.00pm.
