Kirkland music fans will soon have a chance to enjoy an all-female tribute group honoring one of rock’s iconic bands.

Zepparella is a tribute band for Led Zeppelin that was established in San Francisco in 2005, with Clementine, the band’s drummer, as the founding member. The other original members were Nila Minnerok, Grechen Menn, and Anna Kristina. There have been numerous lineup changes since then, but Clementine, Menn, and Kristina are still with the group, though they have not been performing continuously. Holly West has replaced Nila Minnerok on bass, but with that exception, the band’s original members are back together.

The band released their first album, “Zepparella,” in 2014, and followed that effort with 2005’s “Live at 19 Broadway,” followed by “A Pleasing Pounding” in 2010, and 2016’s “Live at Sweetwater.” In 2025, they dropped a studio album with nine tracks, “Zeppelin Forever.” In 2017, Steve Vai performed with the group at the Malibu Guitar Festival.

The band’s music videos have been particularly successful during their career. “When the Levee Breaks,” a 2010 effort, has been viewed more than 20 million times on YouTube, and “Dazed and Confused” and “Kashmir” have also performed well.

Zepparella will be at the Kirkland Performance Center on September 12. Shows like this often benefit when venues use poster printing to create suitable advertisements for them.
