A race in Kirkland will celebrate a special day.

Runners in Kirkland will be able to enjoy their favorite sport soon, as a race is scheduled in the city. In fact, there are several distances available: a half-marathon, a 5K, and a Kids’ Race. Ambitious participants can also buy three-, four-, or five-race bundles.

The race will be chip timed, and entrants will receive post-race snacks, a charitable donation, free downloads of professional photos, a race T-shirt, and a finisher’s medal for both the 5K and the half-marathon. Kids’ race participants will receive a medal, snacks, and a race bib.

The 5K is set to take place from 8:00 am until 10:00 pm, the half-marathon starts at 7:30 am and concludes at 11:30 am, and the kids’ run is from 10:30 am until 11:30 am. People who purchase one of the bundles have many other races to choose from. These include the Electric Cookie Run; and Captain Jack’s Treasure Run. These races take place throughout the area during the rest of 2023.

Maybe this is the year to get mom a new pair of track shoes rather than roses as this is the Mother’s Day Half Marathon & 5K, which will be held on Mother’s Day, May 14. The location is Juanita Beach Park, which will give runners scenic views of the water. Organizers of outdoor events like this can use banner printing to create sturdy course markers for the race.
