Senior art show to be held at Merrill Gardens

The lobby at Merrill Gardens at Kirkland will be the host for the sixth annual Senior Art Show, presented by the Kirkland Senior Council later this month.

The exhibit will be titled ‘Seniors are Artists Too’ and will have photographs, quilts, sculptures, paintings, and other artistic media by senior artists in the local area.

A reception with refreshments and live music will be held on the evening of opening day, Thursday August 7. There is no charge to attend the reception and is open to the public. The exhibit will remain on display in the lobby every day until August 18 from 8:00 am until 8:00 pm.
