A special dance event is planned for Kirkland.
The 7th Annual Outdoor Salsa Party is coming up, giving participants the chance to dance the night away in the main gazebo at Kirkland Marina Park. There will also be a class giving people an introduction to salsa dancing, and then the dance itself will commence.
Music will be provided by DJ Ache and DJ Yambu, who will play music for the evening, including the popular musical genres of Merengue, Chacha, Bachata, and Salsa.
Although the park has limited parking, most people will be parking on the street, so organizers advise leaving extra time to find a spot. They also want everyone to know a dance floor will be put down on top of the concrete in the gazebo, so participants should plan to wear their dancing shoes.
The dance party has been rescheduled to its new date, which is August 15. At 5.15, the class, “Introduction to Salsa,” will be held, with dancing from 6.00 pm until 10.00 pm. There will be dance performances throughout the evening, and there is a $5 charge for the class, and the event itself has a $10 fee. Once the fee is paid, attendees will receive wrist bands which they need to wear the entire night. Banner printing is a good choice to use when creating decorations for events like this, which are held outdoors.
