One festival that people enjoy every summer is returning to Kirkland later this summer.
Kirkland Summerfest will be back for the ninth time in 2020, bringing three days packed full of activities for everyone to enjoy. Among the attractions are outdoor entertainment, live music performances, and a night market. Local wines and beers, as well as delicious food, will be available, and visitors of all ages will be able to take part in interactive activities.
Although details are still being finalized, attendees can expect to find food vendors, both under tends and in food trucks; as well as the Street Market and Night Market. At the markets, festival goers can find vendors who are also craftspeople and will be offering handmade goods, as well as vendors who import beautiful and unusual items for resale. Kirkland Avenue will have exhibits from non-profits, businesses, and commercial enterprises, and there will be a KidZone with rides, bounce houses, a play area, and other activities suitable for youngsters.
Kirkland Summerfest is once again scheduled for Marine Park, on the shore of Lake Washington, from July 24 through July 26. The hours are July 24, from 5.00 pm until 11.00 pm; July 25 from 11.00 am until 11.00 pm; and July 26 from 11.00 am until 6.00 pm. There is no admission charge for the event, and banner printing can be used to provide colorful decorations for this type of activity.
