Outdoor salsa dancing comes to Kirkland

A dance party is planned in Kirkland for everyone who would like to enjoy an event outside.

LaVida is the organizer of the Salsa Marina Outdoor Dance Party, which will provide the fun of dancing at the Kirkland waterfront in the summer night. In addition, there will be an introduction to salsa dancing as well as performances by accomplished dancers.

Live music will be provided by outstanding DJs: DJ Ache and DJ Yambu will spin merengue, cha-cha, bachata, and salsa music, beginning at 6.00 pm. Banner printing can be used to provide colorful decorations for outdoor events like this.

This is the seventh year for the dance, which will take place in the main gazebo at Kirkland Marina Park. However due to the pandemic, this year’s event will differ from those in the past. To keep participants safe, everyone must wear a mask at all times. In addition, people who want to dance will need to bring their own partners, since switching partners during the dance is not permitted. In addition, the total number of participants is limited, meaning that everyone is required to pre-register. Once they do, they will receive a wristband that must be worn all evening. No tickets will be sold at the event.

The Salsa Marina Outdoor Dance Party is scheduled for June 12. The introductory salsa class is $10, and starts at 5.15 pm. The actual dance is from 6.00 pm until 10.00 pm and is $15.
