Seattle Beer Week is currently underway, and the Seattle area and those in Kirkland will not want to miss out on the many events that are within just a short a distance from their community.
During the week, close to 20 bars, pubs, and taverns will be hosting a variety of events related to beer. One of the featured events is a beer marathon where one tavern, Pint Defiance, is challenging participants to enjoy 26 different Washington beers during the week. Each time a different beer is tasted, the participant will have a card punched, with the chance to win a Pint Defiance Beer Marathon T-shirt to as a reward for trying all the beers.
Many other bars are offerings tastings of different beers from the local area and from the rest of the country and especially from Germany throughout the week, with debuts of special brews. On Friday, the Beveridge Place Pub will be holding its Bodacious Beverages Fest serving as many unusual beers as it can find, and the Fremont Brewing Company will be holding its fourth annual free barbeque to culminate the week’s activities.
Seattle Beer Week runs until May 17 and no doubt the bars, pubs, and taverns in the area are using numerous flyer and banner printing companies to create advertisements and drum up interest in their events.
