EvergreenHealth of Kirkland will be holding a variety of events for the community this month that range from wellness and health support to holiday fun. There is no charge for these events and they are open to the public.
A seminar will be led by a physician on the latest advancements in anterior hip replacement and discuss how this procedure can eliminate pain. It will be held on Tuesday, November 10 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and requires pre-registration.
Two workshops will be held by Terry Hershey, a well-known speaker, who will talk about “sanctuary” and “pausing” as practices that can enable one to do less and live more. Both workshops will be held on Friday November 13, the first one being from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and the second one from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. These sessions also require pre-registration.
Finally, the annual Holiday Arts and Frats Festival will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday November 19 and Friday November 20 in the Galleria at EvergreenHealth. There will be many one-of-a-kind handmade gifts, housewares and accessories made by local vendors on display for sale. The EvergreenHealth Auxiliary will receive a portion of the proceeds of the event. There is no charge for admission.
EvergreenHealth may be using Holiday Cards to promote these events that in their own way get people into the holiday spirit.
