Citizen Hurricane has been described (by the performers themselves) as:

“Citizen Hurricane” is one of four show formats presented by David Milchard and Ken Lawson, and is an improvised combination of a rock concert and comedy show. The duo spend their shows telling stories, creating silly characters, and singing spontaneous songs, all the while exhibiting masterful guitar playing. The show has been described as a sort of mashup of Flight of the Conchords, Marc Rebillet, Bo Burnham, Tenacious D, and “Whose Line Is It Anyway?”
Music for this format is inspired by bands like Pink Floyd and Radiohead, and the artists play in a variety of styles from metal to jazz to country. Much of the fun of the show is that it is based on suggestions from the audience.
The other formats are a Las Vegas-style show “Viva Los Improv,” a parody of boy bands called “Middle Aged Men on the Block,” which features hilariously inept dance moves, and “Seriously Silly with Music,” a musical stand-up performance. Milchard and Lawson are members of The Comic Strippers, and have numerous television and film appearances to their credit.
“Citizen Hurricane” will appear at the Kirkland Performance Center on February 15. When events like this are planned, organizers will often use poster printing to promote them.
