Mens clothing store marks anniversary

Seattle Thread Company, located a block from the Marina in Downtown Kirkland, recently celebrated its two-year anniversary of being in business, and is now promoting its accomplishments and setting goals to grow the business.

The men’s clothing shop is local to Kirkland and owned by Konstantin Gorshkov. He was a software developer and then ventured into retail. Yakov Gorshkov, his father, is also often found in the shop to help customers with their tailoring needs and assist his son with his 40 years of experience in the industry.

The Seattle Thread Company seeks to differentiate itself in the market by offering distinctive business and casual clothing brands in a family-friendly setting in a busy downtown neighborhood. The shop sells clothing, as well as leather goods, shoes, and accessories, and also has a following of female shoppers and those seeking gifts for the man in their life.

Konstantin plans to expand the store by boosting the selection of tailored clothing, growing the online business, fine-tuning the ready-to-wear offerings, and marketing the business to those outside of the downtown area. For this, he may seek out a local Print company to help with Flyers and mailers that can be distributed in the neighboring communities.

Throughout the month of April, the store has been celebrating its second year with various specials and sales.
