Topgolf, a leader in sports entertainment, recently announced it will be opening a new concept in Kirkland, in a mixed-use project called Kirkland Urban.
The new entertainment spot will be a Topgolf Lounge, a space that offers about 7,700 square feet for live music, drinks, and virtual games. These games will include Full Swing ‘swing simulators’, where people can practice their swing and tee off inside. They take the place of conventional driving ranges, and Topgolf says the technology is so advanced that users will actually feel as if they are playing a round of golf.
There will be four hitting bays open to the public, and a VIP, private bay reserved for celebrities and special events.
In addition to the simulators and live music, Topgolf Lounge will offer food service, including dishes prepared with local ingredients, cocktails, and hand-made desserts. The facility will have lounge seating for the comfort of its patrons.
Topgolf says it plans to locate its Lounge concept in areas with dense populations, where a full-sized Topgolf facility cannot fit because of size limitations. The Kirkland Urban center where it plans to open the lounge, is aimed at professionals who prefer to have everything close by, including a grocery, retailers, and housing.
At present, Topgolf has 53 locations in the United States and overseas, and is discussing opening a full-size Topgolf facility in Renton. Facilities like this can distribute Promotional Products to welcome customers and encourage repeat visits.
