Kirkland has scheduled a party and invited everyone.
The Lake Washington shoreline is the location of the upcoming Kirkland Summerfest, a three-day celebration of the return of warmer weather. The event, which supports non-profits such as the Downtown Kirkland Association and the Chump Change Foundation, includes local wines and beers, fine food, outdoor entertainment, live music, a night market, and the KidZone.
The first day includes a street market, the Takiest Tiki Hawaiian Shirt Contest, the Sails & Ales Beer Fest – A Tiki Adventure, and live music courtesy of Long Live Rock with DJ Kryspin. Both the concert and the beer fest are for those who are 21 and over only.
Most of the entertainment from the first day continues into the second, with the addition of the KidZone, two sessions of the Sip Kirkland Washington Wine Festival, and the chance to meet Miss Washington Teen USA and Miss Washington USA. The DJ is Indica Jones and the band is Nite Wave.
The final day brings all the excitement of the first two, plus the band The Whirlies and DJ Kourosh. The Sails & Ales Beer Fest and the Sip Kirkland wine tasting are both for those over 21 only. Large events like this can benefit if organizers use flyer printing to create schedules for attendees.
The festival is July 30 from 2:00 pm until 11:00 pm, July 31 from 12:00 pm until 11:00 pm, and August 1 from 12:00 pm until 6:00 pm on the waterfront.
