Kirkland celebrates 20th anniversary of comedy classic
A film that has become a beloved classic will be the subject of an upcoming celebration in Kirkland.
Napoleon Dynamite LIVE! will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the indie comedy, which stars Efren Ramirez, Jon Gries, and Jon Heder, who will be on hand for the event. The film is treasured by fans, who identify with the characters and in particular, the dialogue. “Napoleon Dynamite” is one of the most-quote movies of all time, with lines like Grandma’s "Knock it off, Napoleon. Make yourself a dang quesadilla!" having achieved iconic status.
The event includes a full showing of the film, followed by a freewheeling, animated discussion with Napoleon Dynamite himself, Jon Heder, along with Efren Ramirez (Pedro) and Jon Gries (Uncle Rico).
