Kim Maguire has been a professional performer for the last three decades. She has performed in opera, musical theater, jazz clubs, and cabarets across the U.S., and shared the stage with stars such as Juliet Prowse, Frank Langella, and Eric Idle. Regionally, she has performed in houses such as the Village Theatre, Benaroya Hall, and the Houston Grand Opera.
Maguire was a Seattle/Kobe Female Jazz Vocalist finalist in 2017, but got her start in Minneapolis in high school, when she studied at the Children’s Theatre. She went on to study at the University of Minnesota and Ithaca College, and was part of the Professional Training Program at the Circle in the Square in New York City, where students learned dance, singing, and acting from instructors from Yale and Julliard.
This extensive education and experience in the performing arts gave Maguire the background to found her own company, MaguireVoice. In this position, she has accompanied, hosted, directed, and designed more than 30 cabaret shows throughout her career in Seattle.
