Businesspeople in Kirkland have a chance to introduce themselves next month, and perhaps build their businesses.
The Kirkland Chamber of Commerce is hosting a networking event to encourage people to introduce themselves to others in the city’s business community. Attendees are encouraged to bring any materials they have about their businesses – such as Flyers, Brochures, and Business Cards – and hand them out to others at the event.
There are a number of reasons why networking is important, including the fact it gives people a chance to exchange new ideas; expand their network of support; and mentor others. Attendees of the Networking Lunch are not asked to pay a fee to the Chamber, but it is required that they purchase a meal from the restaurant hosting the event. Each person will receive a separate check, and cash payment is encouraged.
The Networking Lunch is scheduled for the Trellis Restaurant at the Heathman, on Kirkland Avenue. The Trellis is decorated in the style of the wine country, and specializes in farm-to-table cuisine. Trellis sources its ingredients from the local area, and provides drinks and meals that reflect the foods that are in season at the moment.
Any business card printing will need to be done in time for the luncheon on February 25, running from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm. Although the event is free, the Chamber asks that participants pre-register.
