Both those new to the joys of rock gardening and those who are already experts are invited to an event in Bellevue where they can purchase plants and receive tips and advice that can help them to have the garden of their dreams.
The Northwestern chapter of the North American Rock Garden Society (NWNARGS) will be hosting its 2017 Spring Plant Sale. An assortment of its members and businesses in the nursery trade will have plants for sale. Some of them will be native to the forests, deserts, and mountains of western North America, while others will be from other areas of the continent or other locations around the world.
Members of the society will be available to answer questions and share planting advice that can help those who come out in their own home landscape, whether they have been gifted with a green thumb or not. The event is open to the public, and it is suitable for people of all ages. Customized Flyers can be effective promotional tools for a function such as this.
The alpine and rock garden plant sale has been scheduled for April 15 in the Bellevue Botanical Garden. It will begin at 10:00 am, but members of NWNARGS are welcome to arrive at 9:30 am so they can shop early. More information about the event can be found on Bellevue.com.
