New mixed-use development to be built in Bellevue

A new six-story mixed-use development is currently under construction in downtown Bellevue on Main Street.

The developer of the property is Pastakia LLC, a real estate development company that specializes in urban infill, mixed-use projects in the area of Puget Sound.

To be called “Surrey on Main,” the project will include 1,500 square feet of retail space on the ground floor, two levels of underground parking with space for 146 vehicles, and 113,700 square feet of residential space. The ground floor will also have a residential lounge and lobby. The residential space will consist of 125 apartments with studios, and one-, two-, and three-bedroom units. The development sits on a site spanning just under an acre.

The existing Surrey building on the property, located on the southwest corner of the intersection of 108th Avenue Northeast and Main Street, will be demolished by Pastakia. Pastakia also plans to make site improvements to the property that will include enhanced landscaping along the south property line, a new sidewalk along 108th Avenue Southeast, and a 14-foot multiuse path along Main Street.

The project is expected to be completed in the summer of 2021.
