Bellevue becoming better place to live year-upon-year

Residents of Bellevue who feel their city is becoming a better place in which to live can turn to Livability.com latest finding for confirmation.

Livability.com has just come out with its 2016 most livable city rankings for cities in the small to mid-sized range (20,000 – 350,000) and Bellevue placed in the No. 2 position right behind Rochester, Minnesota. Each of the top 100 cities received a paragraph detailing that city’s attributes; for Bellevue, its surrounding lakes and mountains, as well as its many lush parks, were highlighted.

Livability went on to praise Bellevue’s numerous bike paths and sidewalks that provide easy access to its many museums, music venues, and restaurants. Also noted were the city festivals and other activities that give residents a continual supply of things to look forward to, and the city’s large minority population (40%), which provides a diverse range of lifestyle and influences.

Just as businesses advertise to bring in customers, cities promote themselves to attract more businesses and residents. Belluevue’s ranking as the second most livable city of its size, along with its nationally recognized quality schools, will be an excellent selling point to have the city’s printing services to include in its promotional literature.

This is the third year that Livability.com has created a list of Best Places to Live; on 2014’s list Bellevue placed No.13, followed by No.14 last year.
