Featuring traditional and nontraditional art as well as crafts and design exhibits, the BAM Arts Fair introduces the public to the whole spectrum of art.
As a tradition for more than 60 years, the Bellevue Arts Museum (BAM) has annually invited the public into its world. Both established and emerging artists will bring sculptures, paintings, fashion, and jewelry. More than 300 artists will be exhibiting their work, and attendees will have the rare opportunity to purchase original art directly from them.
While a few of the higher end artists may have used services like catalog printing to prepare for this event, most artists, with the help of brochure printers, will hand out information with just the basic information on their work and themselves. The event will be about more than just looking at art exhibits, since vendors will be on hand dispensing the typical fair food that everyone loves, as well as a few less traditional selections. Demonstrations of different artistic media, community art projects, live music, and a KIDS fair will keep things lively throughout.
Held in conjunction with the City of Bellevue’s 6th Street Fair, BAM Arts Fair takes place this year on July 25, 26, and 27. Hours are 9:30 am to 9:30 pm on Friday and Saturday, with Sunday’s hours being from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm.
