Two American rock bands are sharing the stage in Auburn.
Breaking Benjamin and Staind will shake things up at the White River Amphitheater soon. Breaking Benhamin formed in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, in 1999, with guitarist/singer Benjamin Burnley and drummer Jeremy Hummel as the founders.
Although there have been numerous lineup changes, the band has retained a consistent music style, sticking mostly to hard rock. The band has sold over 19 million units in the U.S. alone, and has racked up some impressive ratings. The RIAA has certified three of their albums platinum, and two gold, while several of their singles have also been certified, including six gold, three platinum, and three multi-platinum. Their best-known songs include “Angels Fall,” “Lights Out,” and “I Will Not Bow.”
Staind formed in 1995 in Springfield, Massachusetts, with Aaron Lewis, Mike Mushok, Johnny April, and Jon Wysocki as founding members. Sal Giancarelli replaced Wysock, but otherwise the lineup has remained stable. The band has released eight studio albums, four of which have won various certifications from the RIAA. Their 2001 release, “Break the Cycle,” was certified 5x platinum. Among this band’s hits are the songs “Believe,” “Price to Play,” and “Fade.”
The artists will appear at the White River Amphitheatre in Auburn on October 8 at 5.30 pm. When they schedule appearances like this, organizers will often work with printers who use poster printing to advertise the event.
