The Black Keys to play in Auburn

A popular rock band is coming to Auburn to support their new album.

The Black Keys will be at the White River Amphitheater on behalf of “Let's Rock,” which they released last year. Gary Clark, Jr., will be touring with the Black Keys the entire route, and some shows will feature additional performers such as Yola, Jessy Wilson, the Marcus King Band, and Allah Las.

“Let's Rock,” which is their ninth studio album, went to the #4 spot on the Billboard 200 chart, and is a follow-up to “Turn Blue,” which they released in 2014, an effort that went Gold. They toured in support of that album as well, taking to the road in 2015.

The Black Keys are a duo, Patrick Carney and Dan Auerbach, who got together in 2001 in Akron, Ohio. Carney handles the drums while Auerbach is on guitar and does the vocals. At first releasing their work independently, the two signed with an independent label, Alive, until moving up to major labels like Nonesuch and Warner. Since 2011, the two have been honored with five Grammys.

A review of the Black Keys enthuses:

“So amazing!!! They sound so great man! I loved every song, every second!!!”

The Black Keys will be at the White River Amphitheater in Auburn on July 7, at 7.00 pm. Poster printing can provide both advertising and souvenirs for events like this.
