A fun day is on the menu for youngsters in Auburn.
Kids Day is the perfect entertainment for any youngster. Les Gove Park will be full of activities designed to appeal to youngsters, most of which are free. The fun includes a Touch-a-Truck display of heavy equipment and vehicles, an obstacle course, an indoor playground for those five and under, a Safety Zone for Kids, face painting, miniature golf, and inflatable rides. Poster printing is the perfect vehicle for organizers of events like this to create publicity for the activity.
ArtRageous has planned hands-on activities for budding artists. This is a live show that invites audiences to join in. A lot of the fun comes from the kids making splatter paintings as part of the event.
In addition to ArtRageous, there are live performers scheduled, all of whom aim their shows at youngsters. They are The Magic of Jeff Evans, Eric Ode, The Not-Its!, and Brian Vogan & His Good Buddies.
Paid attractions include the super slide, and the opportunity to buy from specialty vendors, craftspeople, and vendors in the food court.
Kids Day is June 24, from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm. Les Gove Park is on 9th Street NE, and the Discovery Playground and the Rotary Spraypark will be open all day. Furry friends are invited to the party, provided they are well-behaved, licensed, and on a leash.
