Rocking movement makes appearance in Auburn

A leader of the glam-rock movement has scheduled an appearance in Auburn.

Bret Michaels is the lead singer of Poison, a powerhouse glam-metal group who have sold 45 million records throughout the world. They were most popular in the 1980s and 1990s, but have continued to thrill fans up to the present. Poster printing gives organizers of events like this the means to create attractive advertisements.

Michaels began his solo career with “A Letter from Death Row,” in 1998. It was a full-length studio album and the soundtrack to a film of the same name that Michaels wrote and directed, and in which he played the leading role. His solo career was modest until he released “Custom Built” in 2010. The album went to #1 on the Top Hard Rock Albums and Top Independent Album chart, as well as hitting #14 on The Billboard 200.

Throughout his career, Michaels has worked with artist friends. Pop star Miley Cyrus appeared on his “Nothing to Lose” album, and the album “Jammin’ with Friends,” features Sal Costa and Phil Collen from Def Leppard. The album also featured a re-recording of “Nothin’ But a Good Time” with KISS’s Ace Frehley and Michael Anthony of Van Halen.

A review says:

“His show as very entergetic [sic]and he was very interactive with the crowd! . . . He is an amazing singer, musician and performer who . . . gives his shows 150%...”

Michaels will be at the Muckleshoot Events Center on February 3.
