Tyrese Darnell Gibson, who goes by the name Tyrese, is based in Los Angeles and is known not only for his vocal work but also as a successful actor. He began his recording career in 1998 when RCA Records signed him, releasing “Nobody Else,” his debut single, that year. The song climbed into the Top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and was the precursor to his debut album, “Tyrese,” also released in 1998. The album was a hit, and the RIAA certified it, Platinum.
He released “2000 Watts” in 2001 and “I Wanna Go There” in 2002, and the RIAA certified them both Gold. He dropped “Beautiful Pain,” his most recent album, in 2024. His total album and singles sales in the United States come to more than four million units. A concert review says:
“Omg Tyrese really know how to treat his fans... his show was really amazing.”
Tyrese is also enjoying a robust acting career. He starred in 2001’s “Baby Boy” directed by John Singleton, and appeared as Roman Pearce in the “Fast & Furious” films. He also appears in the “Transformers” franchise as Robert Epps, and had roles in 2016’s “Ride Along” and “Morbius,” released in 2022.
Tyrese will be at the Event Center at the Muckleshoot Casino Resort on July 13. When they plan this type of performance, organizers can enhance the occasion by using poster printing to create advertising.
