Music series announced in Auburn

Summer brings live music to Auburn with the Summer Sounds concerts.

All the shows are held at the Discovery Playground Covered Stage in Les Gove Park. Flyer printing can be used to create programs for events like this.

The series begins with The Gothard Sisters, who are multi-instrumentalists who have been internationally acclaimed for their music, which is strongly influenced by Celtic folk musicians.

Next up is Darren Motamedy, a jazz saxophonist, who will jam with musicians from the local area. Motamedy has dropped 15 smooth jazz records.

Danny Vernon, Illusions of Elvis is next on the schedule. Vernon performs a tribute to the King spanning all three decades of his career.

Next on the schedule are The Dueling Crooners, who are Joey Jewell and Chris Anderson, backed by Wayne Ledbetter’s band. They take audiences back to the days when Frank Sinatra ruled the Vegas Strip.

The final band is Wally & The Beavs, who love the pop culture and music from the 1950s-1980s. They dress like iconic characters and perform the hits of artists like The Cars, Cyndi Lauper, and Ricky Nelson.
