Anyone who has ever wanted to try their hand at painting will have an opportunity to create a piece of art soon.
The Paint and Sip Studio in Auburn is offering patrons a chance to recreate a painting called “Seaside Wildflowers,” a study of a birdhouse and colorful flowers against a background of sea and sky. Attendees will be able to choose the size of surface they want to use—there are three sizes of canvases available, as well as one size of wooden shiplap pallet and one size of wooden plank.
Event attendees are asked to be at the studio 15 minutes before the evening starts so they can find their seats, put on a smock, and enjoy a glass of wine. The studio has wine for sale along with non-alcoholic beverages, craft beers, and several menu items. Everyone is welcome to arrive early, or stay after the official end of the event to enjoy the evening with friends. People joining a group should let the studio know, and they will be seated together.
The studio is at 920 15th Street SW, across from the Outlet Collection, and can be found easily thanks to its “Painting with a Twist” illuminated Signs. The studio comprises approximately 3,000 square feet, and there is free parking available. Fees range from $35 to $45, depending on the size of material chosen.
