Celebrating the 4th in Auburn

Cities and municipalities throughout the United States celebrate the nation’s birthday every July, and Auburn is no exception.

Festivities planned during this one-day celebration include mini-golf, a car show, a craft grove, euro-bungee trampolines, children's attractions including train rides and inflatable rides, and two stages for live entertainment. Bocce, a rock-climbing wall, food concessionaires and more will be on hand to make the day fun for everyone. Les Gove Park, the location of the festival, is shady and cool, and a spray park will help keep visitors comfortable.

The Car Show is an important component of the day. Prizes will be awarded in 15 categories including Best Engine, Best Hotrod, Best Ragtop, Meanest Muscle Car, Best Pre-1940, the Mayor’s Choice for Best in Show, and more. The entry fee is $10.00, or $20.00 on the day of the show.

The Auburn Parks, Arts & Recreation 4th of July Festival 2024 is on July 4. Most of the activities are in Les Gove Park, at 910 9th Street SE. Officials expect more than 12,000 people to attend. Sales of the Festival Wristband start at 10.00 am. For the $10.00 purchase price, the band gives visitors unlimited access to all activities including balloon art, laser tag, the cyclone swing, and the attractions mentioned above. Well-behaved pets who are licensed and leashed are also welcome. When events like this are planned, organizers often use poster printing to create promotions for them.
