The Modern Gentlemen, four men who were once part of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, are coming to Auburn. The Four Seasons are one of the most successful groups in history. They worked for several years to get started, finally achieving a breakthrough in 1962, when the released their hit single “Sherry.” Other hit number-one singles followed, inclusion “Big Girls Don't Cry,” “Walk Like a Man,” and “Ain't That a Shame.”
The backup singers in the band changed numerous times over the years, with the four singers who are now The Modern Gentlemen working with Valli from the early 2000s until 2018, when they left—with the good will of Valli—to go out on their own.
The Modern Gentlemen are Todd Fournier, Landon Beard, and Brandon and Brian Brigham. They sang backup for Valli longer than any other artists. All four have extensive experience and have toured widely, and performed on stage, screen, and television. A review of one of their live performances said:
“..as usual it was an outstanding show. 4 of the most classy, nicest guys you can meet . . .”
The Modern Gentlemen will be at the Auburn Performing Arts Center on April 4, with the show starting at 7.30 pm. Poster printing is often used to create publicity for events like this.
